WKU Fly Fishing Montana September 2026
AND
September 20 – September 25
Join WKU and experience fly fishing on world-renowned
waters which contain several trout species and
other fish such as mountain whitefish, northern
pikeminnow, and pike. Guides typically take
participants on one or more of the following
rivers: Blackfoot, Clark Fork, Bitterroot.
No prior fly-fishing experience is required.
This program is designed to meet the
needs of the complete beginner and ‘experts’
alike; whatever an expert is. All fishing will be
from drift boats or rafts. Being able to cast a
flyrod is certainly helpful, but not a requirement
as on-the-river instruction is readily available.
WKU has successfully offered this program since
2012 to participants with a wide range of abilities
(from no prior experience to being a fly-fishing
guide).
