October 2026 HFF Meeting

Does anyone ever get used to Indiana weather…Tuesday record heat and now a thunderstorm and tomorrow temperatures in the mid 50s. If you don’t like the weather wait a day or so…it will change.
 
We will meet  this coming Tuesday the 20th. We will again meet at the American Legion Post #18 on 3rd Street.  Dinner at  6:00 and the meeting at 7:00.
 
The program  this month will be Dave Herr telling us about LOGJAM Fishing Co. I’m looking forward to information on Indiana creek fishing. He will also tie a Circus Peanut fly. 
 
Time to make plans for the annual HFF Christmas party. It will be December 13th  at the Red Lobster. More information on that later. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

August 2026 HFF Meeting

The program this month will be Chris Conner discussing the overall health of Lake Lemon as it relates to fishing. He will also cover the impact of fishing tournaments on the fishery. I am looking forward to hearing about the impact of tournaments on the fishing.  
 
Mike Donovan will be tying a Clouser Swimming Nymph. This is a nice looking little fly and I am guessing that Clouser guy knew something about fly design.  I understand he also has a minnow pattern named for him.
