I trust we are all enjoying this weather. I assume it will become more “seasonally appropriate” sooner or later and that we are all getting a little fall fishing in…nothing like retrieving through fallen leaves.
The next meeting of the HFF will be October 21st. We will again meet at the American Legion Post 18 here in Bloomington. Diner at 6:00 and the program at 7:00.
The program this month will be “seasonally appropriate” with Kevin Montague presenting steps necessary to prepare your fly fishing equipment for the winter. After everything is cleaned and oiled perhaps sit down and tie some flies.
The Tying demo this month will be Paul Brown tying the mini-dungeon, a streamer that worked very well for him out West this year. He may tell a few tales of his adventures on the Big Horn and Bull Creek.
There will be some information about Trout Unlimited’s release of trout in Sugar Creek at Camp Atterbury this November 3rd. More details at the meeting.
Again the HFF will meet on the 21st. Dinner at 6:00, program at 7:00
Hope to see you all there.
Go fishing,
Tim
