I do hope you have been able to enjoy this fine weather and perhaps even do a little fishing! The meeting this month will be on September 16th. We will again meet at the American Legion here in Bloomington, dinner at 6:00 and the meeting at 7:00. Be sure to bring some tales (true or not) to share of your fishing adventures during the Once Around at the beginning of the program.

The program this month will feature four of our members tying flies that have worked well for them in the area. Feel free to walk from tier to tier , ask questions, make comments…
Elizabeth will tie a “Mop like fly”
Mike will tie a “Burlap Nymph”
Kyle will tie a “Bang Tail”
Tim will tie a little Deer Hair bug that has worked quite well on Clear Creek.

It is always fun and interesting to see folks tie, share ideas, answer questions and share techniques. As always, we look forward to your ideas for future meetings. HFF meetings are open to anyone interested in fly fishing or fly tying or one pound bluegills. Come join us for good food and fun.
