February 2019 Meeting Update

Another reminder that the February 19th meeting will be held at La Charreada Restaurant.

As usual, we will start with dinner at 6:00 followed by the business meeting and the program (don’t forget about the raffle).  And, so begins the search for the best future location for the meetings of the HFF. However, please keep in mind, the very best place to meet a fellow fisher person is on the water!

The program this month will be some wonder filled fly-tying demos. As announced, Barry Clarke will be tying a salt water pattern. In addition, Paul Brown will tie something wonderful and I will tie a Bluegill pattern. I must warn you, I have received a complaint on this pattern at a past HFF picnic… Phil reported that he only caught 6 fish on 7 casts…it must have been his casting skill.

The March meeting will be at the Red Lobster  on March 19th.   Additional upcoming events include the raffle and the picnic and I am sure we are all looking forward to a summer filled with great fishing adventures.
