Happy day before Thanksgiving!

The Christmas Party is coming, December 15 at the Colorado Steakhouse.
Buffet starting at 11:00 and the raffle will be at 1:00. The club will
provide the buffet, soft drinks and coffee. For those of us who would
like an appropriate adult beverage, I recommend Dragonfly with turkey.
These drinks are on the drinker.

The Christmas raffle prize is a TFO BVK 9ft. 6wt. rod with hard case
and Orvis Clearwater large arbor reel.  This is a really cool outfit.
Buy some tickets and win yourself a fine set up.  Thanks to JLWs and
their generosity for helping put this outfit together. Shop locally.

It seems to be getting a bit cold outside. Perhaps the local fishing is
done for the year and maybe the Largemouth we caught yesterday at
Monroe was the last of the 2013. Personally, I am spending my
daydreaming time wishing and hoping the Wipers will show up in bigger
numbers and larger sizes this coming spring. Things like that keep me
more or less sane over the winter. That and how many 1 lb. Bluegill I
will catch if I win the 6wt in the raffle.
