That old saying “…if you don’t like the weather, wait a day it will change” has certainly proven itself true of late. Yes, we need water to fish but not as much as some areas in Indiana have right now.
The next meeting of the HFF will be August 18th. Again we will meet at the Legion with dinner at 6:00 and the program at 7:00.
The program this month will be Chris Conner discussing the overall health of
Lake Lemon as it relates to fishing. He will also cover the impact of fishing tournaments on the fishery. I am looking forward to hearing about the impact of tournaments on the fishing.

Mike Donovan will be tying a Clouser Swimming Nymph. This is a nice looking little fly and I am guessing that Clouser guy knew something about fly design. I understand he also has a minnow pattern named for him.
I hope to see you all this coming Tuesday the 18th. Always a good time and good food. Dinner at 6:00 and the program at 7:00. Stay cool or warm or wet or dry or what ever our weather wishes,
Tim
Hoosier Fly Fishers meetings are open to the public for anyone interested in fly fishing or fly tying.
